About Camila
I photograph the in-between moments
I'm Camila Reyes, and I founded Studio Lux Photo in 2019 after years of shooting editorial fashion in Miami. What pulled me toward weddings was the honesty of them — the fifteen seconds before the aisle, the way a grandmother holds someone's hand, the light coming through a hotel window at 7 a.m.
My approach is cinematic but never staged. I work almost entirely in natural light, direct gently when it helps, and otherwise stay out of the way. The result is a gallery that feels like a film you lived rather than a set of poses you sat through.
The studio is based in Miami and travels constantly — Tulum, Positano, Cartagena, Napa. If your day is happening somewhere with good light, I'd love to be there.
